Accessibility Statement

NorCal Tech Solutions, Inc. is committed to making norcal-techs.com accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

Accessibility is built into how this site is designed and developed, not bolted on afterward:

  • Semantic structure — proper HTML landmarks, one H1 per page, logical heading order, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Keyboard access — all navigation, menus, accordions, and forms are fully operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Contrast and readability — text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, with resizable text that doesn't break layouts.
  • Forms — every field has a programmatically associated label, errors are announced and described in text, and touch targets meet minimum size guidelines.
  • Images and media — meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Motion — the site respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • Testing — we run automated accessibility checks (axe) as part of our build process and perform manual keyboard and screen-reader walkthroughs of key pages and forms.

Known limitations

Some content links to third-party platforms we don't control — such as our support portal, review sites, and embedded maps. Where a third-party component falls short, we'll help you get the same information another way: just ask.

Feedback — please tell us

If you encounter any barrier using this site — a page that won't work with your screen reader, a control you can't reach by keyboard, text that's hard to read — we genuinely want to know. Contact us through the contact page or call our Sacramento office, and mention "website accessibility." We aim to respond within two business days and to fix verified issues promptly.

Continuous improvement
