The free IT assessment is a structured review of your technology — security, backups, network, and spending — performed by a senior engineer and delivered as a written, prioritized report you keep, whether or not you ever hire us. Is the assessment really free? What's the catch?
Really free, and the catch is transparent — it's how we earn new clients. We show you exactly what we'd find and how we work; you keep the written report whether or not we ever talk again. No invoice, no obligation, and we don't do high-pressure follow-up.
Will you try to sell me during the assessment?
We'll tell you plainly if we think we can help, and what working together would look like. That's it. The report stands on its own — several businesses have used it to hold their current provider accountable, and that's a fine outcome too.
How long does it take, and how much of my time do you need?
Typically about an hour of conversation with you or your office manager plus some non-invasive review of your environment, with the written report delivered within a few business days. We work around your schedule and your team's workload.
Do you need passwords or access to our systems?
We start with what can be seen without credentials — your external exposure, email security records, and a structured conversation. If deeper review makes sense, we'll agree on scope first and use read-only access wherever possible. Nothing happens to your systems without your explicit say-so.
We already have an IT provider. Is this still useful?
Especially then. An independent second opinion is how you find out whether the backups actually restore, MFA is actually enforced, and you're getting what you pay for. If your provider is doing a great job, the report will say so — that's worth knowing too.
