These terms govern your use of norcal-techs.com (the "Site"), operated by NorCal Tech Solutions, Inc. ("NorCal Tech Solutions," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you accept these terms. Services we provide to clients are governed by separate written service agreements — these terms cover the website only.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems;
- Interfere with the Site's operation (including scraping at abusive rates, submitting forms in bulk, or attempting to bypass rate limits or spam protections);
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious content through our forms;
- Use the Site to transmit malware or unlawful material.
Content and no professional advice
Content on the Site — including articles in our Learn library — is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, compliance, insurance, or financial advice, and it does not create a service relationship. Regulations such as HIPAA, the FTC Safeguards Rule, and CMMC apply differently to different organizations; consult qualified counsel or engage us formally before relying on general guidance. Cost figures in articles reflect third-party market data, not our pricing or a quote.
Form submissions
Information you submit through Site forms is handled as described in our privacy policy. Submitting a form is an inquiry, not a contract: no service engagement exists until both parties sign a written agreement.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, and design — are the property of NorCal Tech Solutions, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, share links to, and quote brief excerpts of Site content with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, use our name or logo to imply endorsement, or use Site content to train products marketed as substitutes for our services, without written permission.

The Site links to third-party sites and services (including our support portal at norcaltechs.freshdesk.com and review platforms). We don't control third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORCAL TECH SOLUTIONS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or the terms of any signed service agreement between us and a client.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NorCal Tech Solutions, Inc. from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute relating to the Site lies in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; changes are effective when posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
